NEW BETA VERSION WITH NEKUDOT (DIACRITICALS) JEWBERRY 2.0 NOW AVAILABLE
Jerusalem, Israel April 26, 2007 - Today, Jewberry , a division of PL Holdings announced the release of a beta version of Jewberry 2.0, an upgrade of the popular Jewberry software application , the first application that provides Hebrew texts on Blackberry devices. The version 2.0 beta provides additional functionality, including the display of Nekudot (diacriticals or vowels) for Hebrew text. Jewberry 2.0 is part of a continuing series of developing new features in response to the requests of users.
“Jewberry 2.0 provides fixes for many of the bugs users have experienced – typical of new software products. We have also added new texts, including Nussach Edot Hamizrach - which was a popular request. ”, said Jonathan Bennett, a managing partner of PL Holdings, based in Jerusalem. “Most important, we have developed the display to include Nekudot. Our users asked for the ability to read words as easily as possible. Nekudos provides them with that capability.”, he continued.
Jewberry, is the first software application that provides the convenience of displaying Hebrew texts on Blackberry devices. The application allows Blackberry users all over the world with the convenience to view daily prayer services and additional texts in Hebrew, anywhere and at anytime.
